Week 14

9/26-27/20 Wye River MD

Anchored out in the Wye River on our way south. We had nice water cruising in to a beautiful spot; saw eagles, grazing black sheep, and lovely wild flowers!

9/30-2/20 St. Michaels, Oxford & Cambridge MD - What lovely towns! St. Michaels was more touristy with fun water-front restaurants, shops, found a nice sidewalk café and brewery. Took a great walking path along the river and found a cute covered bridge.

My favorite of these 3 towns was Cambridge! So much history, older/restored homes, great farmers market, blue crabs, and took a dinghy ride under the swing bridge! Kent found an ice-cream soda shop and of course a brewery. I loved seeing and reading about Harriett Tubman and seeing the slave route through the Choptank River. A big highlight was getting a photo of her mural with two adorable models!
